On 30 April 2010 the National Capital Authority approved Development Control Plan 10/03 for Block 2 Section 6 Lawson and Block 1 Section 16 Lawson (Belconnen Naval Transmitting Station).

DCP No. 10/03 has been prepared at the request of the Department of Defence. The DCP identified indicative development precincts, and prescribes requirements for future detailed planning of the site.
